Students depict the greatest love story
St Joseph’s Primary School pupils during their Reenactment of the story of Easter on Thursday.

Pupils at St Joseph’s Primary School started their Thursday morning jumping right into the spirit of Easter with their reenactment of the story of Jesus’ resurrection.

Leading up to the long Easter weekend the students have worked hard on placards and makeshift cardboard crosses to help them depict the greatest love story of all time.

Keen to take part in the school’s Easter processions, the students gathered together outside their classrooms, holding up their creations proudly and joining together in singing and prayers dedicated to this special time of year.

St Joseph’s is the only Catholic primary school in the Cook Islands and prides itself on its dedication to instilling in their students’ Biblical knowledge which the school hopes will serve as a solid foundation for them as they grow and progress through life.

The school’s devotion to enlightening the students on the greatest love story known to humanity through methods not only educational but also enjoyable was evident through the big smiles and enthusiasm of the students who with pride presented their knowledge of Easter on Thursday.

No doubt the students are looking forward to more Easter celebrations this long weekend with their families.
