Football enthusiasts can look forward to thrilling knockout matches in the first round eliminations taking place at the CIFA Complex, Matavera, and the Takitumu School Grounds, Matavera, today.

Over at the CIFA Complex the day’s events kick off at 11.15am with the Under 15 Boys match between Titikaveka FC and Tupapa Maraerenga FC. The match will be officiated by referee George George, assisted by Kataraina Piri and Tuakeu Paerau.

Following closely at 12.15pm, the Under 15 Girls of Titikaveka FC will face Avatiu FC. This match will be played under the watchful eyes of referee Teupoko Tuariki, with Lai Gukisuva and Matilda Auua serving as assistant referees.

At 1.15pm, the Under 18 Men's teams of Titikaveka FC and Puaikura FC will take to the field. John Pareanga will be the referee, with Tuakeu Paerau and George George as assistant referees. The fourth official for this game will be Kataraina Piri.

The Senior Women's match between Puaikura FC and Titikaveka FC is scheduled for 2.40pm. Referee Tahiri Elikana will take charge, with Kataraina Piri and George George assisting. Lai Gukisuva will be the fourth official.

At 12.15pm, the Under 15 Girls from Puaikura FC will square off against Matavera-Ngatangiia FC. Tupou Brogan will be the referee for this match, supported by Kimberly Uini and Poko Tangata as assistant referees.

The Under 18 Men's teams of Nikao Sokattak FC and Matavera-Ngatangiia FC are set to compete at 1.15pm. Terry Piri will referee, while Teina Savage and Robert Savage Jnr assist. Ua Savage will be the fourth official.

At 2.40pm, the Senior Women's teams of Matavera-Ngatangiia FC and Nikao Sokattak FC will vie for victory. Tupou Brogan will serve as referee, with Robert Savage Snr and Poko Tangata assisting. Ua Savage will serve as the fourth official.
