Tereora College students Brielle Hansen and Mackenzie Jocelyn Sakai, both aged 14 and in Year 10, have used the time to get their English assignments done and dusted.
The pair found a quiet spot in Ruatonga Playground at the Punanga Nui Market yesterday to share use of a laptop computer and put the finishing touches to their projects.
The pair said they spread their homework chores out across the fortnight and were up to date with their tasks.
Term 2 of the Cook Islands academic calendar is set to start on Monday and end on July 21.
