The workshop will be held in partnership with the Cook Islands Ministry for Agriculture.
Agriculture, Biosecurity Division director Ngatoko Ngatoko says the “Enhanced Pacific Market Access Partnership (EPMAP) & Phytosanitary Certificate System”
workshop will be held from April 17 to 21 at the Muri Beach Club Hotel.
Ngatoko said the objective of the workshop is to enhance safe, profitable, and economically beneficial trade of agricultural and primary commodities in the Cook Islands to New Zealand.
It will also include explaining pathways to access New Zealand markets for fresh fruits, vegetables, cut flowers and foliage from the Cook Islands.
Each day’s event will give the participants opportunity to have a “talanoa”/ discussion session, and group presentations.
