Teina Samuel admitted his role in a mass brawl on Rarotonga.
Samuel, 17, appeared in the Criminal Court on Thursday last week where he entered a guilty plea to fighting in a public place.
The charges related to a brawl that took place in Nikao on Sunday afternoon, January 28.
Multiple males ranging in age from 15 to 25 years were consequently rounded up with charges related to fighting in public, and assault with intent.
The court heard he threw two punches during the brawl.
He was handed a suspended sentence of three months and ordered to pay $50 court costs.

He entered a guilty plea to fighting in a public place when he appeared before Justice of the Peace Vania Kenning in the Criminal Court on Thursday.

A woman has admitted to common assault.
Veronica Eli appeared in the Criminal Court on Thursday where police said there had been a letter filed by the victim seeking to have the charge withdrawn.
Police said they would proceed with the matter before Eli entered a guilty plea.
The court heard the defendant assaulted the victim with punches to the face on November 26, 2023.
Police asked for a probation report and requested adjournment for sentencing.
The matter was adjourned to April 23.
