High profile DJs Coco House Bros (Mark Zow, Anthom and Doctor E) have released their 2023 gig calendar which includes the classic Sunset Sessions day parties at 21.3 Vaiana’s Bar, Rarotonga Sailing Club and Rehab Ministry.

Today’s event at 21.3 Vaiana’s Bar will be the inaugural for two brand-new party concepts, with Hula Glitterbox at the Islander Hotel and Full Moon Sessions at the Ukulele Bar – Tamarind House.

The season opener takes from 2pm at Vaiana’s where Coco House Bros will deliver the 16^th edition of Sunset Sessions.

Sunset Sessions by Coco House Bros is the brainchild of Doctor E (Damon Enoka) and was conceived in 2020 during the Covid-19 border closures in Rarotonga.

The first Sunset Session took place in August 2020 and was a full resort takeover of the Crown Beach Resort.

In a statement, Mark Zow (Marcus Niszow) said: “This Sunset Sessions event, brought the resort to life during times when international travel to the Cook Islands was cut off and the nation was without tourists.”

During the lockdown period six Sunset Sessions took place at Crown Beach Resort before tourists returned and the event was relocated to its permanent home at 21.3 Vaiana’s Bar on Nikao Beach.

“This Saturday marks the 2023 return of Coco House Bros and Sunset Sessions with drink discounts such as $1 glasses and $5 jugs of Cooks Lager, thanks to Sunset Sessions event partner Cook Islands Brewery.

“Make sure you get in early as the beer deal only runs until it’s sold out.

“There are also plenty of other drink specials and all day dining available throughout the day.”

The Coco House Bros 2023 event calendar includes 20 parties between April to October, and includes a new monthly series’ of events called Hula Glitterbox launching on the 13th May from 4pm at the Islander Hotel.

Hula Glitterbox is a tribute and recreation of the highly successful global Glitterbox party concept created by Defected Records and will follow this same theme.  

As with all Coco House Bros events, the new Glitterbox series provides an opportunity to deliver a unique soundtrack that showcases dance music in its purest forms.
