This Sunday on May 14, give your mum a surprise. Flowers, chocolates and an appreciation card for your mum, showing how much you love and care for her is all they need. These gift ideas are also for all the single dads who are taking on the role of being a mum for their children.
There are three Mother’s Day packages. The first package is $65 – flowers, balloons and chocolate. Second package is $80 – flowers, a happy Mother’s Day balloon, chocolate and single artificial flowers. Final pack is $180 – a basket arrangement, with balloons, box of chocolate, teddy bear and perfume from Tahiti, and Poncho. You can even add a bit more to the gift packs.
Island Craft head florist Sophie Faurens says they provide free delivery around Rarotonga and all the islands on Saturday, and orders must be made before today, May 11, by 4pm. Sunday delivery is $30. If you make your order after today, delivery on Saturday will cost you $10.
Faurens said flower arrangements include imported flowers from New Zealand and local flowers.
She said there were 550 different stems of flowers imported from New Zealand for the special occasion.
Faurens added that some orders have come from Mangaia, Atiu and Mauke and those wishing to send to the Pa Enua must place their orders as early as today due to biosecurity checks.
“Mother’s Day is our second big event of the year, the first one is Valentine’s Day,” she said.
“Treat your mother well. Mothers are important in our life, so take care of her.” Head on down to Island Craft, pick a gift package for your mum and speak to Faurens who will help arrange your gift package to your liking
