Cook Islands Triathlon Association is looking forward to the Annual BSP & KPMG Team Tri Competition this Saturday, February 3.

The event will be held at the usual Tikioki Tri Site and teams are encouraged to come and participate “in what is always a massively fun day," says Triathlon president Roland Neururer.

The short course 200 metre swim, 8-kilometre bike and 2km run will be undertaken in teams of three, with each team completing the distance three times. Registration is at 1pm with the race starting at 2pm sharp. 

Neururer said: “Sports teams, banks, government departments, families, church groups, businesses and a number of youngsters always line up to compete and have fun with their friends and families.”

Neururer is happy to assist people to make up a team so if you fancy giving it a go but don’t yet have a team, feel free to call him on 55077.

“Bring a mat and some snacks, cheer on your friends and join in a wonderful fun afternoon.”
