Women’s tri on today

The annual Rarotonga Women’s Triathlon will be held today at 3pm at the triathlon section in Tikioki.

A large group of women are expected to turn out for today’s event and will be challenging themselves over the 400m swim, 16km bike ride and 4km run course.

The event, once again sponsored by Island Car & Bike Hire, has been designed to provide a stepping-stone for women triathletes between the shorter Team Triathlon format and the longer Tinman and Rarotonga International Triathlon distances.

There will be an excellent line up of prizes for this event and plenty of action so bring down family and friends to cheer you on, and make it a great day of fun, sweat and laughter in the sun!

Teams are asked to be at the triathlon site by 2pm for numbering please.
