The Westpac cycling series was into its second race this week and a few new riders stepped up to take on the 16km circuit.

Riders battled a strong headwind on the return leg of the race but still managed to turn in some impressive times. First across the line this week was Louise Wittwer very closely followed by Tim Alchin then Rangi Apera. Next two were Mel Wilson and Nerys Case. There was just 65 seconds between the first 5 across the line.

For the second week in a row the fastest time again went to Roland Neururer.

Next week the route will be bumped up to 20km and will start at 5pm from outside Raviz.
