Volleyball on beach

Manuia Beach Boutique Hotel in Arorangi is running a fun beach volleyball series this summer.

The series is for mixed teams of four players and they will take to the beach court for the first games of the series on Monday, December 6 to sort out the best of their bumps, booms, bangs and spikes.

The series will run for eight weeks on Mondays from 5pm to 7pm starting on December 6, with a two week break for Xmas and New Year, then through January and into February finishing on Valentine’s Day 2011.

There will be great prizes for eight fun categories including best team performance, worst team performance, best team name, best dressed team, most humorous team, best individual performance female, best individual performance male and best Valentine’s Day team

The volleyball court is right on the beach at the Manuia Beach Boutique Hotel.

Teams need to register by Saturday, December 4 to be included in the first match of the series this Monday at 5pm.

Team registration is $50 for the series, teams can field any player during the series as long as the team is mixed. Registration can be made with Queenie at Manuia Beach Boutique Hotel on 22461.
