The Panthers and Bulls lock horns today when the under 16 grade from the two clubs meet at Victoria Park at 4.15pm.

After their big win last week against the Takuvaine Reds – the Panthers will head into today’s game brimming with confidence and making the most of their returning players.

The players to watch out for in the Panthers team will be speedy lock Ngametua ”trap-it-up“ Tekorona, hooker Stephen Rani, flanker Tim Palmer and prop Paul Kirikava.

The Titikaveka Bulls on the other hand will be up for another bruising encounter after a narrow loss to the Eels last week.

They will want to improve on their game plan and will no doubt come out champing at the bit to prove they are a force to be reckoned with in the under 16 grade.

Titikaveka Bulls players to watch out for are speedster prop Etuini Vakalalabure, inside back Karika Tuake and high-flying flanker Tyrone Tairea.

Panthers under 16 team – Jason Vavia, Maire Taripo, Christian Toa (Capt), Marouna Ioane, Gordon Tua, Taia Taputoa, Simon Marsters, Tuki Paitai, Aitu Newbigging, Ben Patia, Taua Pouao and Tau Henry.

Bulls under 16 Jason Uka, Aaron Pokino, Tepaku Uini, Reece Sheddon, Teariki Matenga, Harmon Royal, Eddie Myers, Matty Sheddon, Manoa Manavaroa, Tauraki Hosea, Teava Iro, Jedrek Engu, Tuaine Tekariu, Sam Tatuava and Josia Mataio.
