Vonnia’s Corporate mixed volleyball team Turtle Diggz have maintained their early top of the table lead with an impressive win on Friday against opponents Manea Food Boom.
Turtle Diggz wasted no time in asserting their dominance with a comprehensive win over Manea Food Boom 116-50.
Their impressive score of 116 points was the night’s highest tally closely followed by team Stingers who defeated team Edgewater Spikes and Tykes 110-62.
The huge win by team Stingers have nudged it up into the top five of the competition along with newcomers to the top five podium the Killer B’s who edged out Manea Foods Jumbo 88-66.
Team Telecom was in the spotlight for playing 2 players registered in other teams.
Volleyball league organisers would like to remind teams that if you are intending on playing players registered in other teams – it is important that you ask you opposing team first if they approve, failing that you cannot play a non registered player in your team.
In fact, all teams are encouraged to make suggestions and advice on how to maintain the fun filled atmosphere of the volleyball competition for your enjoyment.
So the top five teams after round three of games are Turtle Diggz in top spot followed by Stingers, Vonnia’s Vikings, CITC Smackdown and Killer B’s.
