Goals by Campbell Best and Paavo Mustonen sent Tupapa into ecstasy and plunged Nikao into despair in the Lotto Premier Men’s main match last weekend.

The first half of the game was a fascinating tactical contest with Tupapa dominating ball possession and Nikao looking to counter attack.

Best scored Tupapa’s first goal in the first half, catching Nikao’s keeper Romeo Keu off guard.

In the second half the game opened up to produce some exhilarating and incident packed football which had the crowd on the edge of their “seats”. Nikao scored their one and only goal through a free kick after the Tupapa keeper fumbled the ball for a one all draw.

Just as it looked as if the game was heading for a one all draw Mustonen and Best struck another two goals for Tupapa leaving Nikao no time to respond. Taking everything into account the game of football was unquestionably the winner. Tupapa winning that much awaited match against Nikao by three goals to one.
