Tupapa netball club teams are proving to be tough contenders in the current season with stand-out performances by the under 15, junior open and premier grades.

Of course Titikaveka are still the leading force in the tournament from their under 10 grade – who defeated Takuvaine 15-1 – to their ace premier grade who showed no mercy on Takuvaine to win 73-31.

The Avatiu premier grade played the men’s side on Saturday due to Ngatangiia not having a top grade team and walked away with a win by default.

Avatiu also registered an easy win against the Ngatangiia reserve grade who struggled to find players for the day.

The Arorangi club teams are still finding their groove but the club’s open 1 and reserve grade registered good wins against Tupapa.

Supporters are expecting games to become more polished as the season progresses and players hone their skills.
