Tupapa defeats Arorangi despite solid defence

In the weekends major premier mens Lotto football match, Tupapa defeated a defensive Arorangi side by 3 goals to nil.

Although Tupapa dominated possession for most of the first half they could not convert this into goals as the Arorangi defence was solid with Jack Sheik calling the shots at the back. However, early in the second half Tupapa-Maraerenga managed to break the deadlock and scored their first goal through Apii Angene.

Throughout the match the underdogs Arorangi managed to create 2 golden goal scoring opportunities, however these 2 opportunities missed the target.

Tupapa went and scored 2 more goals through Campbell Best and Paavo Mustonen.

The final score in this match was 3 goals to nil in favour of Tupapa.

Tupapa Maraerenga who had the upper hand in terms of ball possession was rewarded with a free kick just outside the 18 yard box and this was neatly put away into the back of the net by Elizabeth Harmon for the equaliser.
