The Titikaveka Football Club will be hosting Avatiu in today’s football matches scheduled to play at 4.15pm in the under 14 boy’s division followed by the senior women at 5pm at the Titikaveka sports field.

In their first meeting Avatiu managed to defeat Titikaveka and is no doubt looking to repeat that winning performance when they battle it out today.

Following a disappointing result against Puaikura last week, Titikaveka is hoping for a better outcome while playing on their home turf.

Titikaveka’s senior women’s team will certainly look at boosting their performance after a comfortable result against Puaikura.

For Avatiu, a win is on top of their list and they will look to achieve it when they face Titikaveka at 5pm.

Friday’s matches will see Titikaveka and Avatiu’s under 14 girls game commence at 4.15pm followed by the premier men’s Lotto Premiership match to kick off at 5pm.

Both Avatiu and Titikaveka have drawn their games in the under 14 girls division last weekend and today’s challenge will see who will do well.

In the Lotto Premiership host Titikaveka is likely to do well considering they will be playing on their home ground while Avatiu ponders on uncovering Titikaveka’s weaknesses for any goal scoring opportunities.
