The two day tennis ranking tournament set to begin yesterday was cancelled and has been rescheduled for next week Friday at 3pm and Saturday at 9am.

The outcome of the tournament is to decide the rankings of the eight U12 players who will be competing against each other as well as two 14-year-olds as an added challenge.

Coach Malcolm Kajer will be selecting players from the U8 – U18 age groups who will compete in two tournaments held in New Zealand this coming December. Kiana Sword-Tua, Vaine Koteka, Jack Woods, Andrew Terute and brothers Trey, Joshua and Strauss Williams are some of the 15 players competing in the two events Kajer hopes to confirm by next week. The first tournament will be the Waikato Junior Open tournament that will be held Dec 7-12 and the second being the Auckland Christmas tournament from Dec 17-23.
