Elmay Viking returned to the scene of her Pacific Mini Games gold medal performance to take out the women’s division of the Cook Islands Golf Masters on Thursday afternoon.

The Brisbane-based teenager just edged out another teenager Rotana Howard, who has been based in Auckland for the past two years.

In the men’s division, Carl Tupangaia from Wellington, who plays off a scratch handicap, won the green jacket ahead of local golfer -- and Rotana’s uncle -- Teinaki Howard.

A total of 104 golfers took part in the two-yearly event at the Rarotonga Golf Club course at Nikao.
