Team Cook Islands wrap-up

Team Cook Islands sponsors and supporters will be the guests of honour at tonights Pacific Games wrap up function at the Rarotonga Golf Club.

Families of athletes and sponsors are invited to be at the wrap up function to share in the success of the team who brought home from the Games 2 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Team chef de mission George George says that the get together is a way for everyone to share in the experience the team had in Noumea and for athletes to acknowledge the support given by sponsors and the wider sports community.

The function officially begins at 7pm but Team Cook Islands athletes and officials are asked to arrive earlier to help with setting up and medal winners are asked to wear their awards.
