The newly upgraded Takuvaine field will see their village representatives host Nikao Sokattak today in the under 14 boy’s and senior women’s matches starting at 4.15pm.

Nikao Sokattak’s senior women’s team have performed exceptionally well so far and are currently sitting in second place on the points table.

For Takuvaine, their opponents could intimidate them, however they are playing on their home turf and things could sway their way.

There is nothing more stimulating for footballers than the tension and atmosphere which accompanies anticipated games between teams like Nikao Sokattak and Takuvaine who are scheduled to battle it out on Friday in the Lotto Premiership men’s division.

There is no question that Takuvaine’s premier men have underachieved so far and they will be anxious to snatch the opportunity to better their ‘pedestrian’ performance by gaining a win against Nikao Sokattak.

Under the guidance of Alex Napa, Nikao Sokattak is very competitive as seen in past matches and Friday’s contest is no different.

All things considered, the ‘great uncertainty of football’ is bound to provide enough thrills and excitement to keep players and supporters well entertained.
