Swimming siblings Aaron, 17, and Celeste, 15, Brown (pictured) will be on the start line of the Air New Zealand Rarotonga International Triathlon race today as the swimmers on the two under 18 teams entered in the race.

The siblings have returned to Rarotonga especially for the race after they entered for the first time in 2008 when their family moved to the island.

The pair are now living back in Australia where they are continuing to train hard to represent the Cook Islands at the Oceania swim meet in Samoa next June, and to qualify for the Youth Olympics in September later this year.

Last year Aaron was eighth out of the water while younger sister Celeste came home 13th overall and was the second woman across the line.

They are expected to impress again at today’s international triathlon race in Ngatangiia starting at 1.30pm.
