Samoa’s tennis stars ready for action

Samoa, Tonga, American Samoa and Cook Islands junior tennis stars will contest the tournament with the top two from each age grade to qualify for the Oceania junior opens in Fiji.

The five-day tournament will be officially opened by Minister Wilkie Rasmussen this morning before the tournament gets underway.

All players are expected to be at the Nikao Tennis Centre at 7.30am ahead of the opening ceremony at 7.45 am.

The tournament will include under 18, under 14 and under 12 divisions with the under 12 players to hold their competition at the Tereora College courts.

Entry to the courts at Nikao and at Tereora is free – so come along and support all the junior players.
