Ruks, Ponnies, Turtles take it

Ruks, Ponnies and Turtles have been named the winners of the 10-week Turtles Business House Volleyball tournament, which finished on Wednesday this week.

Ruks, the pool A winners, were followed by runners up TKV-2, with Ponnies finishing over Smack Em in pool B and Turtles over Southpac in pool C.

Spot Prize Winner went to Robbo’s, prize sponsored by FBI.

Four games in the final round were decided by default in a disappointing end to the competition.

However, organisers said that overall it was a great night, with big numbers showing for the final round of play.

The tournament organisers would like to thank Turtles for their support towards the Business House Tournament 2012.

Cook Islands Volleyball is hosting an Easter One Day Volleyball Tournament on Saturday April 7 at the Telecom Sports Arena (TSA), games starting at 9am, registration forms can be uplifted from Robert Graham on 55100 or Hugh Graham on 52287. Registration fee is $100 per team, and cash prizes will be up for grabs.

There will also be a few Rarotonga-based players flying over to Aitutaki on that Saturday for play in the Aitutaki Easter 4x4 Volleyball Tournament, on Monday, April 9.
