Rugby finals at Muri this weekend

Tuesday 25: This weekend’s club rugby grand finals at Ngatangiia, promises to be full of action from the under 13 grade right through to the senior grades.

In the senior A grade, Avatiu managed to edge out Ngatangiia-Matavera to secure a finals spot against Arorangi who defeated a tenacious Takuvaine team last Saturday.

In the senior B grade, the grand finals match between Arorangi and Titikaveka will be played on Friday at Ngatangiia (Muri).

The Arorangi B team had a nail biting 14-13 win over Takuvaine at the weekend.

Titikaveka also had a close win in their semi finals match against Ngatangiia to secure their place in the B grade grand finals.

In the age grade category, Tupapa will face Ngatangiia after a win 19-5 win against Avatiu at the weekend while Ngatangiia kept their Arorangi opponents scoreless in a 10-0 score line.

Takuvaine will take on Tupapa in the under 17 grade while the under 15 and 13 age grade finals will be between Arorangi and Avatiu.
