The club beat the Bulls 22-18 to lift the championship trophy – the first time the club had done in some 38 years.
The rugby victory highlights the long years of work injected into the development and growth at the club and the win was certainly owned by the entire village of Takuvaine which poured out on grand finals day to cheer their team on.
The staunch Reds army of supporters along with the clubs various grade players joined their winning team on Saturday for their very own cup parade that brought traffic to a standstill through Avarua as the club showed off their prize and pride.
