Excitement is mounting as Rarotonga gets set to host the 4th International Asia Pacific Body Building and Fitness Championships this Saturday.

Around 70 bodybuilders from across the Asia Pacific region will compete in this event – the first to be hosted on the island for some 15 odd years.

The one day show will be held at the National Auditorium in Avarua and will begin with the pre-judging session from 9am to 12 o’clock.

This show will bring a range of athletes from the Asia Pacific region including athletes from the Philippines, India, Pakistan, Holland, New Zealand, Tonga, Niue, Fiji, Samoa and the Cook Islands to showcase the best in physique and fitness.

Classes are open to men and women, from juniors to masters level athletes.

This is also a fantastic opportunity for locals to get behind the event, offering their usual fantastic and welcoming support to the 70 international athletes and visitors from across the Asia Pacific realm.

The event is being hosted by the Top Shape Health and Fitness Centre and NABBA New Zealand with Turtles Sportswear the major sponsor.

Tickets will be on sale from Top Shape at $5 per section – prejudging and judged show.

Come along and see some of the best physiques on display!
