Sole female triathlete Rangi Apera is ready for her race this morning on what will be a super fast course in Noumea.

Apera spent yesterday familiarising herself with the race course which will include a 750m swim followed by a long run to the transition to her bike where she will take off on a 20km sprint cycle to be capped off by a 5km run.

Its going to be a fast one but I wait to go out there and do my best, said Apera.

Apera will race with 10 other women and 18 men in the Pacific Games triathlon course and spent yesterday calming her mind and zoning in for todays race.
