Powerade final

This Wednesday will see the final Powerade mid week challenge to be played at Arorangi.

The under 16 Arorangi Cowboys capitalised on the absence of key Tupapa Panthers players in the last challenge which they won 5-0.

It was heartbreaking for the Panthers who had managed to hold on to the challenge cup since winning it last year only to lose it to the Cowboys in the last challenge before the finals.

The Cowboys will want to bring their A game this week as they will face challengers the Avatiu Eels.

And knowing the Eels – they will want to win this match for the bragging rights of snatching the cup in the final challenge but the Cowboys have confidence and home ground advantage on their side.
