Panthers play Bulldogs at Victoria Park

The Tupapa Panthers will host the Titikaveka Bulldogs today at Victoria Park and not in Titikaveka.

In fact, there are two main rugby league matches today with the Aitutaki Sharks/Warriors here on the island to take on the Arorangi Bears.

As defending champions and playing on home soil, the Panthers are without a doubt the favourites to win their encounter against the Bulldogs.

But the Panthers haven’t really had much game time this season which could work in favour of the Bulldogs who are still tending to their wounds after being bitten by the Sharks last week.

Who mauls who will be known at the end of today’s premier grade match which kicks off at 5.15pm at Victoria Park.

Out at Raemaru Park, the Arorangi Bears will be more than ready to host and take on the Sharks.

The Sharks had their first taste of victory last week when they feasted on the doggies and no doubt they are keen for some Bear meat today.

This match starts at 5pm sharp.

So if you go to Arorangi or Tupapa for today’s games – be prepared for great matches full of spark.

Tomorrow, Ngatangiia is the place to be as the Avatiu Eels take on the Sea Eagles.
