Traders from across the Cooks gathered in town yesterday for the first of two days of special markets held in conjunction with the Vaka Eiva festivities taking over Rarotonga. The best of the rest made the bulk of the day, with people of the pa enua making a particular effort to bring a slice of their islands to the capital.
