The Daniel Family will be hosting as part of a family fundraiser a series of three one-day volleyball tournaments, starting tomorrow.

The first tournament of a tri series, the one-day tournament will be held at the Rutaki School Grounds from 9am.

The second and final one day tournament are presently scheduled for May and July this year.

The organisers expect eight open men’s teams and eight open women’s teams to allow a fun and competitive competition with a minimum of six players and a maximum of eight players which is targeted at optimising game time for players.

The fee for each team is $150 with both cash, trophies and kits of food for prizes, in addition to individual prizes for skills of individual players. All team registrations were due yesterday and a team technical meeting was held later in the afternoon.

As an additional incentive, the organisers have included for the benefit of volleyball a bonus system for specialist players, for more information please contact Mahai on 54092, Tiki on 55457 or Jeannine on 55270.
