New record

Diana Tamaiva (above) set a new record as she recorded the highest mid-week score by a smashing 77.

This is Tamaiva’s second season of women’s cricket, and says she became addicted to the sport after first trying it at the beginning of the year.

Since then Tamaiva has gone on to be selected into the Women’s Telecom High Performance Programme, is the captain of the unbeaten Arorangi team and has attained a Level I Coaching Certificate.
