Muri will be under plenty of pressure today in their second round clash against The Computer Man Eastern Conference cup neighbours Davana.

Neither side have recorded a victory this season–and with a bye round still to play Muri Cricket Club will be conscious that they will need a good victory today to keep their hopes of an The Computer Man Eastern Conference championship alive.

Turangi Cricket Club will have their first opportunity to take to the park when they host the Titikaveka Titans in the second round of The Computer Man Eastern Conference Cup. A wash out in the first round and a bye during last weekend’s 2nd round means Turangi will be keen to secure some points. Today’s match will also provide young star Ioane ‘Junior’ Tangimetua with a chance to stamp his mark on The Computer Man men’s club competition. Miller’s Titans will want to take advantage of Matavera’s bye round today by securing a win to elevate the Titans to outright The Computer Man Easter Conference leaders.

Out in The Computer Man Western Conference the Arorangi Redbacks will be hunting down points against Tupapa II. A first round bye and a loss to Nikao last weekend leaves the Red Backs pointless on The Computer Man Western Conference table. Nikao will be hoping to carry that winning form into today’s match against ‘Tanks’ Tupapa. Tupapa are two points clear at the top of the table. Takuvaine have the bye. The Computer Man men’s matches bowl into action at 3.15pm.

Points Western Conference; 1st Place Tupapa (with 6 points), 2nd Place Nikao (4), 3rd Place Takuvaine (2) and 4th Place Arorangi (0).

Eastern Conference: 1st Place Titikaveka (with 6 points), Matavera (6), 3rd Place Turangi (2), 4th Place Muri (2) and 5th Place Davana (0).
