Matavera takes on Arorangi today

In the Lotto Premier Mens soccer match today Matavera will face a revamped Arorangi outfit at the Matavera school grounds to kick off at 5pm.

Matavera no doubt will amp up their game to take the three points however, Arorangi may surprise Matavera to keep their confidence and momentum alive. Arorangi have recorded one point in the competition after a draw against Avatiu. National referee Tupou Patia will control this match with the assistance of Terry Piri and Paavo Mustonen.

Prior to the Lotto Premier Mens game the under 14 girls teams from Matavera and Arorangi will compete against each other with their game starting at 4.15pm.

In the under 17 mens competition played last Wednesday at the CIFA complex in Matavera, 2010 round cup champions Matavera could only manage a one all draw against Titikaveka while Nikao Sokattak defeated Avatiu, two goals to nil.

In the other under 17 mens game Tupapa won their game by three goals to nil.
