Intriguing drama is sure to be the feature of today’s 2012 Rarotonga football round cup competition fixture which sees Matavera host Titikaveka.

Today’s football action will see the under 14 boys play first at 4.15pm followed by the CIPS Image & Copy Centre women’s championship game.

Matavera’s third place in last season’s competition could see them win over Titikaveka, however Titikaveka will no doubt make it difficult for Matavera.

A win will be on the minds of Matavera and Titikaveka women’s teams in the women’s championship opening match at the Matavera school grounds.

After a disappointing season for Titikaveka last year, they will be thinking redemption this year and they have proven that in previous years.

While keen to shake things up, Titikaveka will at least take comfort from the fact that their performance from last season has given them the edge during their matches.

These two teams need a win in this match if they want to do well in the rest of the competition.

The Lotto Premiership competition will start tomorrow with both Matavera and Titikaveka looking for an upset and three points added to their tally but prior to their kick off the under 14 girl’s division are scheduled to play first at 4.15pm.
