Matavera head to head with Arorangi

After a 1-all draw against Takuvaine at last weekends football outing, the Matavera senior womens side will be facing Arorangi today in the CIPS Image & Copy Centre womens competition at the Matavera school grounds scheduled to kick off at 5pm.

Both sides, having drawn in their first games, will be looking to win one over each other to earn their first three points for this season.

Referee Maara Kaukura will take charge of this game and is in for an interesting afternoon.

In the under 14 boys division, Matavera and Arorangi will face each other at 4.15pm and both teams have earned their three points after Arorangi defeated Avatiu in the first round and Matavera winning over Takuvaine last weekend.

4.15pm-Under 14 Boys, Ref: Maara Kaukura, Assistant refs: Mosman Baker and Travel Nootai, 5pm-Senior Women, Ref: Maara Kaukura, Assistant refs: Mosman Baker and Travel Nootai.

5.00pm-Premier Men, Ref: Tupou Patia, Assistant refs: Terry Piri and Paavo Mustonen.
