After a break of a couple of weeks there will be another opportunity for masters athletes to try out their skills at the BCI Stadium this afternoon.

The invite is also extended to any golden oldies rugby player that might want to try to throw a shot put or javelin or try any other event.

The Kumete Sports on Queens Birthday Monday will include a number of events for the older athletes, so this is the chance to have a practice

We have recently had confirmation that a group of masters athletes from Auckland will be attending the Cook Islands Masters champs in October.

Tonights fun competition will cover the following event throws (shot put and javelin), jumps (long or triple) a sprint (60m) and a middle distance 800m race.

All over 35s are welcome with the events starting at 5pm warm ups from 4:30pm.
