School children on Rarotonga are now settled back into their school routine and at St Joseph’s Primary School holiday stories have been the focus of the first two weeks back at school.

Today we share ‘my holiday’ stories written by St Joseph’s grade 6 students.

My holiday

This is how I spent my Christmas holidays.

I went swimming at my mother’s working place.

We had pizzas and ice cream.

After eating, I went back swimming with my friends.

Their names were Rosey, Delta, Wade, George and Marrice.

Rosey and I had so much fun.

Then at 2pm I went home.

That’s the end.

My holiday

During the holidays I went to New Zealand and stayed with my aunt Angela.

We stayed there for two weeks and two days.

My uncle Sam and I went to Rainbows End, a really cool theme park with all sorts of cool rides and games.

My favourite ride was the ‘gold rush’.

That’s all – if I tell you more you will get too excited!

My holiday

During my holiday I spent time with my family.

We did everything together.

Then I went back home in Takuvaine and baby sit my cousin’s baby.

I went to stay with my two cousins – their names are Tony and Yvette.

We played with the laptop and we go on Facebook and chat with our friend.

Her name is Heidi.

Sometimes my little cousin and I go swimming in the pool.

Every Thursday we have a show at the Staircase and on Saturday we have a show at the market.

Then on Tuesday we went to the Edgewater for dinner and my cousin and I went swimming in the pool then we watched the show.

We went home when the show was over.
