Former All Blacks flanker and reality television ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant Josh Kronfield is guest speaker at this year’s national sports awards in May.
This year’s national sports awards will be hosted by Vaka Puaikura at the Aroa Nui hall on Tuesday May 25.
Forms have been sent out to all national federations to nominate their athletes into the running for awards in 14 categories.
All national federations are asked to please make an effort in sending in your nominations so that your athletes, teams and coaches can be recognised for their sports achievement in 2009 – a year packed with sporting events in the Cook Islands.
Entries for the Sports Hall of Fame will also be accepted as new inductees to the hall of fame will be announced and honoured on the sports award evening.
For more information on the sports awards – call the CISNOC office on 24095.
