Titikaveka’s two basketball teams are continuing their winning ways in the pre-season basketball competition.

The village’s men’s and women’s teams both won their games in Wednesday night’s play, extending their unbeaten run into the third round of play.

The men’s team, the Hot Dogs, beat a high-performing Ruaau Philo in a tight contest.

The Hot Dogs managed to come away with the win in the low-scoring game 13-10 and hand Ruaau Philo their first loss for the competition.

In previous weeks, both the Hot Dogs and Ruaau Philo have put in high scores against their opponents. Ruaau Philo’s best score so far is 56 points and the Hot Dogs’ 43.

The relatively low score gives some insight to their competitiveness on Wednesday.

For their part, the Titikaveka Ekes beat the Ngatangiia E-Galz 28-15.
