Four golden oldies rugby teams will re-live their heyday antics in the two-day Cook Islands Golden Oldies mini rugby tournament to be held this Saturday and Monday.
So far four teams have been confirmed to rumble in the rugby festival including two international and two local sides.
The DB Millhillians rugby team from New Zealand and the Central Coast Seagulls from Australia will take on the local Avatiu-Nikao Mongoose and Sons of Takitumu teams, although more local teams are expected to take part.
The first games of the tournament will kick off at 3pm at the Avatiu field on Saturday and continue at the same time and venue on Monday.
The general public is invited to head along to the Avatiu field to support the teams playing in the tournament.
If you are keen to register a team for the tournament contact Kristina Tatam at Destination Management Cook Islands on 23026 for more information.
