In the second round of the Computer Man cricket season last weekend, Arorangi cricketer Henry Geary bagged seven wickets including two in the first over of the match against the Titikaveka Titans.

Although Geary has been on the rock for two years, this is his first season of cricket.

Geary says his love for cricket was re-sparked after attending a Cook Islands Cricket coaching course for school teachers with his wife.

“While I was there I met the captain of the Arorangi team Apii Mamanu,” Geary says.

“Apii asked if I was keen to play, so I went to a training session and quickly saw how well organised the Arorangi Club are. They have great training facilities, regular trainings and are a bunch of talented guys.”

Geary’s seven wickets shoots him into the top three Computer Man wicket takers for the season.
