Full on sevens action

High calibre rugby sevens players and teams made for a top level Sevens in Heaven tournament that provided plenty of action for supporters.

The womens division impressed all and it was no wonder with 10 current and new Black Ferns spread throughout the 6 teams that took part.

By day three of the tournament all guesses of just who would win both the mens and womens division went out the door as all teams displayed solid rugby sevens skills.

In the end it was the mens College Rifles team that defeated the Tauae Bulls to lift the tournament cup for the second year in a row.

The College Rifles womens team attempted to do the same but their hopes of defending their championship title was dashed by the tenacious Titikaveka Titans who stormed their way to lift the cup.
