Women rugby players and rising under 16 rugby stars will be under the spotlight at the BCI Stadium this evening for the start of the final round of rugby.
The Titikaveka Bulls will head to the stadium to rumble with the Takuvaine Reds in the Polynesian Bike Hire Under 16 division.
The young Bulls will be hyped up to finish the season on a high after closely losing 11-15 to the champion Cowboys team last weekend.
The Bulls have been the only team this year to keep the Cowboys score below 20 points and they will be looking to their much-improved backline to fire up and their hard-working loose forward trio of Harmon Royal, Tyrone Tairea and Aaron Uini to do the damage.
On the other hand, the Reds have been competitive all year and will be looking for an upset win to keep their top four hopes alive.
Reds players to watch for are talented brothers Thomas and Jason Potoru and impressive big prop Alfonze Rima.
This game kicks off at 4.30pm followed by the women’s game at 5.30pm.
Titikaveka Bulls – Tauraki Hosea, Tuaine Tekariu, Jason Uka, Eddie Myers, Tyrone Tairea, Aaron Uini, Harmon Royal, Matangaro Varu, Dezharn Henry, Teariki Matenga, Jedrek Engu, Teava Iro, Reece Richmond, Travel Tuaputa, Peter Matapo, Karika Tuake, Henry Hosea, Teremoana Maitai.
Under 16 Reds – Tamatoa Matai, Strickland Tangimetua, Jason & Thomas Potoru, Charlie Brown, Rouru Teiotu, Jon Bailey, Jordan Kamana, Alfonze Rima, Tinto Ngametua, Ngaro Mataora.
