After last weekend’s hugely successful Corporate Team Triathlon, the triathlon association believes that many of the athletes who took part are keen to get back out on the tri course for more fun.
And with a number of exciting triathlon events coming up – several different courses have been set for this weekend’s triathlon.
But first up today is a stroke and stride duathlon from the Tikioki tri site at 5.15pm.
Distances are a 300m swim and 2km run with the option of doing it twice for the hardy athletes.
On Saturday three distances will be on offer again from the TIkioki tri site starting at 3pm sharp. The distances are a 200m swim, 8km cycle, 2km run or 500m swim, 16km cycle, 4km run or the longer distance course of a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run.
So pick one of these depending on where you are in your training and it can all be in training for the upcoming Women’s Triathlon on March 19 or the Tin Man Triathlon on April 16 or the big International Triathlon on May 7.
