The Avatiu Dragonflies premier netball grade exerted their dominance over Tupapa on Friday night to win the battle 57-34.
The last time the two teams met, Avatiu were given a massive scare by the improving Tupapa side who again threatened on Friday but were unable to make it a win.
In fact, Avatiu won all but one grade game on Saturday against Tupapa with the Tupapa under 10 the only winning team on the day from the club after dominating Avatiu in the under 10 grade to win 14-9.
Avatiu won a tight battle in the junior open grade only managing to take the win by one point 34-33 against an equally talented Tupapa side.
In the under 15 grade, Avatiu beat Tupapa 31-26 and 15-8 in the under 12 division.
In the games between Titikaveka and Takuvaine, the Pearls defending premier grade side cruised to a 54-36 win.
Takuvaine held their own in the under 10 division winning 9-6 while the under 15 game between the two clubs ended in a 15-all draw.
Titikaveka won the under 12, junior open and reserve grade games.
The Avatiu under 8 babes faced Titikaveka again and improved on their points to win 8-0.
At Raemaru Park – Arorangi hosted Ngatangiia and won the under 12 and under 15 grade with Ngatangiia winning the under 10 and reserve grade matches.
