Do or die football at Matavera today

The knockout soccer competition continues today at two venues the Matavera School grounds and CIFA complex also in Matavera.

Arorangi and Titikavekas premier mens side will go head to head with their game scheduled to kick off at 4pm at the Matavera School grounds.

In their last outing Arorangi narrowly defeated Titikaveka by three goals to two however this time around it may be different.

Referee Robert Savage will take charge of this match.

Kicking off todays proceedings in the under 14 girls division, Tupapa will take on Matavera followed by the under 14 boys, Arorangi taking on Avatiu.

Avatiu will go head to head with Titikaveka in the senior womens division.

At the CIFA complex, Matavera will battle it out with round cup runners up Nikao Sokattak. Matavera surprised Nikao Sokattak in their last outing by scoring first in their game however it wasnt to last when Sokattak scored two goals to win the game.

Prior to the premier mens match, Arorangi will play Nikao Sokattak in the under 14 girls category followed by the under 14 boys game between Nikao Sokattak and Titikaveka while round cup runners up Arorangi take on Matavera in the senior womens division.

Loyal supporters will no doubt rally together to cheer on their side to see their team progress through to the semi finals.
