The 2011 club rugby senior B season has been dominated by the Arorangi Cowboys and Titikaveka Bulls who will lock horns today in the Whatever Bar & Grill senior B grade grand finals.
Last week both teams scored impressive semi final wins with the Bulls convincingly defeating the Avatiu Eels 32-6 while the Arorangi Cowboys expertly disposed of the Takuvaine Reds 28-10.
With those results and performances Cowboys and Bulls supporters can expect to see two well oiled machines step out onto the pitch this afternoon for what should be a bone crunching match.
Both teams are blessed with years of playing experience and knowledge, although the Bulls do have a senior A grade look about them with familiar names boosting their ranks.
Players to watch in the Titikaveka Bulls will be their electric utility back Eli Bendini and slight built first 5/8 Bill Tangapiri.
In the Arorangi Cowboys pack the halves pairing of Winton Porter and Dickie Mataroa will be critical to this teams performance today.
These two teams have met twice this season with a win a piece the Bulls won 19-14 in round 1 and the Cowboys squared the ledger with a 28-7 win in round 2.
This match kicks off today at 4.30pm at the Nukupure Park in Ngatangiia.
