The popular ‘Come and Play’ football programme will kick off tomorrow at the CIFA complex in Matavera at 9am.

Come and Play is designed for children aged between 5 and 13 and is based around fun football activities.

This programme is set to run for six weeks taking place every Saturday morning at the CIFA complex in Matavera.

Come and Play, now in its fifth year of sharing the fun of soccer with kids, continues to grow in popularity among junior players.

CIFA development officer Tuka Tisam is encouraging all kids to get along to the CIFA complex and have some fun playing soccer.

”To all the junior soccer players, come on down to the CIFA complex tomorrow and play fun soccer games with your friends.“

The ‘just play’ sessions will be included during the Come and Play festivities as well, to involve children in fun football activities.

This is also a great opportunity for parents to bring their children and share the fun as the sport is introduced to young enthusiastic and keen youngsters, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

Children and parents who are interested in taking part – see you all this Saturday June 16 at 9am for the first kick off of Come and Play for 2012.
